Job Overview:

The Senior-Level Health Care Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal counsel on health care regulatory and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in healthcare law, focusing on business transactions, regulatory compliance, and reimbursement issues within Medicare and Medicaid frameworks. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills and a commitment to client service and teamwork are essential.

Duties:

• Provide legal advice and support on health care regulatory and transactional matters.
• Conduct regulatory due diligence and structuring for business transactions.
• Advise on fraud and abuse issues, including compliance with Stark and anti-kickback laws.
• Assist with licensure and enrollment matters.
• Handle reimbursement issues within Medicare and Medicaid statutory and regulatory frameworks.
• Manage internal and external client and counsel relationships effectively.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Ohio State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in health care law, focusing on regulatory and transactional matters.
• Experience representing providers and professional entities is preferred.
• Strong business and entrepreneurial sense.
• Commitment to teamwork and client service.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Ohio State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
