Houston office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks an associate attorney with experience. The candidate will join a firm specializing in immigration law. Will provide prompt, professional, and practical advice to clients seeking immigration assistance. Foster strong client relationships to encourage repeat businesses. Responsively handle incoming calls and emails, ensuring messages are returned within 1 business day. Address urgent issues promptly. Gather essential documents from clients for filing. Communicate expected timelines to clients. Provide regular status updates and address legal inquiries. Undertake other duties as assigned, including cross-departmental tasks. Review and ensure accuracy of drafted forms, letters, invoices, and related documents. Thoroughly examine case files to confirm the availability of all necessary documents and information. Provide clear instructions to Legal Assistants and Law Clerks on procedures and document requirements. Conduct a meticulous review of all client-submitted documents. Provide corrections to Legal Assistant & recommendations to Law Clerk and complete final review. Review completed applications and petitions for accuracy and required documents. Verify invoicing and receipt of payments. Assign task to Legal Assistant/Law Clerk, offer, offering guidance and support. Provide guidance to Legal Assistant/Law Clerk Safeguard original documents and manage their proper return to clients. Maintain an up-to-date database for all assigned cases. Monitor the database to identify and address delays, facilitating the progression or closure of cases. Stay vigilant regarding case statuses, database entries, cases exceeding normal processing time, missing receipt notices, errors on receipts or approvals, etc. Encourage client to use our LIBERTY portal for efficient case tracking. Actively participate in monthly networking events to expand professional connections. Contribute to webinar presentations on immigration topics. Author articles related to immigration law for publication. Engage in social media activities to promote the firm?s expertise and engage with the immigration law community.
