- Typical Starting Salary: $106,100-$114,000

Responsibilities:
- Manage entire legal process, including investigation, discovery, trial preparation, negotiations, and court proceedings
- Research applicable laws and develop legal strategies for all stages of litigation
- Establish and maintain relationships with claims representatives and clients
- Develop clear and concise legal opinions and draft legal documents, pleadings, motions, and opinions
- Provide guidance and direction to junior attorneys, paralegals, or law clerks

Qualifications:
- Membership in the Texas Bar
- Special licenses to practice before boards or federal courts preferred
- Minimum of 5 years as first chair
- Experience in insurance defense strongly preferred
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Detail-oriented and analytical thinking
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Broad knowledge of insurance law
- Familiarity with latest developments in the practice of law and related fields
- Process-oriented mindset with ability to meet deadlines and stay organized
- Proficiency with technology for cost reduction and remote work
- JD degree required
