Overview

Legal Aid of North Carolina's Martin Luther King Jr. Internship Program offers a unique opportunity for law students to gain hands-on experience in legal aid advocacy. The 10-week paid internship program (currently offering $4,000) allows MLK interns to work on real cases for real clients under the supervision of experienced Legal Aid attorneys. In addition, MLKs have priority for attorney positions at Legal Aid after graduation.

- Currently enrolled in law school
- Passion for equal justice
- Strong communication and research skills
