This is a permanent placement opportunity with a salary range of $61,070 to $105,480, depending on skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location. The position is open to candidates in the United States, and remote work is available. As a Tax Experienced Associate, you will provide partnership tax services to Baker Tilly, including tax preparation, planning, and consulting. You will work closely with firm leadership to build the business and have a direct impact on its success. This role does not have the typical tax busy season, offering a steady schedule year-round. Key Responsibilities: - Provide tax compliance and advisory services to partnerships - Participate in tax research projects and draft IRS responses - Team with leaders on special projects related to flow-through taxation - Develop recommendations and strategies for complex tax matters - Communicate and collaborate with specialty tax practices on state and local, high net worth, international, research and development, and credits and incentives areas - Learn and grow through direct on-the-job coaching and mentoring, as well as firm-wide learning and development programs - Utilize entrepreneurial skills to network and build relationships internally - Support the growth and development of team members through the Baker Tilly Care and Teach philosophy - Enjoy a work-life balance with social activities and team outings Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in accounting or law, or a related degree in business - Sufficient course work and credits to sit for the CPA and/or Bar exam in the state where you are being considered - CPA license preferred - 1+ year of experience providing federal tax compliance and consulting services in a public accounting firm - Strong skills in time management, communication, interpersonal relationships, collaboration, and problem solving - Leadership, project management, organizational, and analytical skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Suite - No immigration sponsorship available At Baker Tilly, they believe in equal opportunity and affirmative action.
