## Construction Litigation Associate at Moye White LLP

Moye White LLP, a leading Denver law firm, is seeking an experienced commercial litigation associate attorney with 3-4 years of experience, and a preferred background and interest in construction litigation. The ideal candidate must have experience with all phases of complex commercial litigation, including fact investigation, legal research, drafting discovery, preparing pleadings, taking and defending depositions, participating in mediations, communicating with opposing counsel and clients, and appearing in court for motions and pre-hearing proceedings. Prior law firm and insurance litigation experience are preferred.

* Representation of secured creditors and receivers in state court insolvency proceedings.
* Possession of a license to practice law in Colorado from the Colorado Supreme Court at the time of application or possession of license from . states that have a reciprocity agreement with the state of Colorado.
* Strong writing, communication, analytical and legal research skills.
* Must be outgoing, collegial, and collaborative.
* Ideal candidates must be responsive to clients and partners and accept project responsibility.
* Qualifications include distinguished academics, and a keen attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills a must.

### Preferred Construction Litigation Experience

* Strong background in construction litigation and arbitration.
* Experience litigating and advising clients on issues including construction defects, bond and lien claims, delay and disruption, payment disputes, and indemnity/subrogation.
* Knowledge of contracting documents including AIA.
* Familiarity with design documents and construction drawings.
* Ability to manage and synthesize large volumes of documents and track multiple issues in a case.
* Experience locating and analyzing real property records and title policies.
