Responsibilities:

- Assist the PwC Client Services team with advising clients on tax laws, reporting, legislation, and planning strategies based on geography and jurisdiction.
- Provide support to the team with local tax laws, reporting requirements, statutory filings, corporate strategy, transfer pricing, and other international taxation needs.
- Encourage open communication and diverse opinions within the team.
- Effectively handle ambiguous and unstructured problems and situations.
- Initiate coaching conversations at all levels.
- Easily switch between big picture thinking and managing relevant details.
- Anticipate stakeholder needs and develop potential solutions.
- Contribute technical knowledge in area of specialization.
- Foster an environment where people and technology work together to achieve more.
- Navigate the complexities of cross-border and/or diverse teams and engagements.
- Initiate and lead open conversations with teams, clients, and stakeholders to build trust.
- Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- 5 years of experience in corporate tax, including research, compliance, and consulting within an international taxation environment.
- CPA, Member of the Bar, or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Master of Laws (LLM), Juris Doctorate (JD), or Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation field of study will be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Experience in public accounting, law firm, or corporate tax department of a multinational company.
- Knowledge of structural realignment, cash and financial statement effective tax rate analysis, and improvement of tax efficiencies of cross-border flows.
- Experience as a tax technical business advisor, with a focus on building relationships and selling new services.
- Familiarity with a CRM system.
- Experience managing resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing, and collections.
- Ability to prepare and coordinate complex written and verbal materials.
- Supervisory experience, with a focus on creating an atmosphere of trust and providing feedback.
- Knowledge of automation and digitization in a professional services environment.
- Familiarity with pricing strategies and alternative fee arrangements.
- Ability to work with large, complex data sets and leverage data visualization tools to provide insights to clients.
