This esteemed law firm is seeking a Pre-Suit Attorney to spearhead personal injury claims and play a pivotal role in negotiating settlements. Must be a dedicated legal professional with a background in managing a substantial personal injury caseload. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant experience, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to client communication and empathy.
In this role, the Pre-Suit Attorney will be responsible for gathering essential documents, evidence, and information related to personal injury claims, ultimately negotiating settlement offers. Collaborating closely with a dedicated team, you will help prepare demand letters and engage in negotiation with insurance providers. Efficiently managing a full caseload, overseeing a dedicated legal assistant, and maintaining regular client communication are vital aspects of this role. You will also be responsible for opening new files, making initial client contact, and continuing ongoing client engagement. Thoroughly investigating each case, verifying insurance coverage, and managing the client's medical care will be among your primary duties. Your role will involve scheduling medical appointments, reviewing medical records, and organizing case files for submission to demand writers.
The successful candidate must be an active member of the Florida Bar Association in good standing. Strong organizational and time management skills are essential, as you will be handling multiple tasks simultaneously. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are crucial, as is the ability to interact empathetically with clients during their time of need. Bilingual skills are a plus.
