Job Overview:

The Immigration Attorney will provide legal representation and counsel to clients in various immigration matters. This role involves managing cases, conducting legal research, preparing court documents, and staying updated on immigration laws and policies.

Duties:

  • Meet with potential new clients to assess their immigration needs
  • Coordinate case and legal strategy with clients and colleagues
  • Manage multiple cases, paralegals, projects, and deadlines effectively
  • Train and supervise staff members to ensure quality service delivery
  • Prepare and revise court documents, motions, briefs, and memoranda
  • Conduct thorough legal research on immigration laws, policies, and precedents
  • Keep abreast of legislative changes and judicial case law affecting immigration
  • Market the law firm's immigration services to attract new clients
  • Work one Saturday a month, with potential bonuses for clients signed during those days
  • Cross-sell various other practices within the law firm to clients when applicable
  • Handle court hearings and trials related to immigration cases
  • Become an expert on Family Petitions, Asylum, Individual Hearings, SIJIS, U-Visas, Waivers, etc.

Requirements:

  • . from an ABA Accredited Law School
  • Active Bar License in Good Standing from any US State or PR
  • Fluent in Spanish
  • Minimum 1+ years of Immigration experience
