## Internship at the New Jersey Division of Law The New Jersey Division of Law offers law students the opportunity to serve an internship during their Fall or Spring Semesters or during their Summer breaks. Working as an intern at the New Jersey Division of Law offers law students the chance to gain valuable experience in the legal field, observe a wide range of lawyering activities, and attend court proceedings, meetings with clients, and depositions. ### What Interns Can Expect Interns accepted into the program will be assigned to one of the Division’s sections, where they will be supervised by a Deputy Attorney General. An Assistant Attorney General will have overall supervision of the program. Interns will perform a full range of law clerk responsibilities, including research and writing. They will also be eligible to participate in training sessions offered to Deputy Attorneys General throughout the year. ### How to Apply s interested in being considered for a position in the program should submit the Internship Application, resume, legal writing sample, and their most recent grade report to the appropriate recruiter listed below. The Division conducts interviews and extends offers for positions in the program on a rolling basis.
