Portage office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a business transactional and estate planning associate attorney with 6+ years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, contract drafting/review, and general corporate advising. The candidate will prepare and negotiate various transactional documentation, including purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, joint venture agreements, shareholder agreements, and operating agreements. Manage and develop a business and transactional practice in the local market. Interpret and provide guidance on laws, rulings, and regulations governing businesses. Stay apprised of legal and regulatory developments affecting business clients. Assist clients in drafting and implementing legal documents. Assist clients in determining the specific distribution of their estate. Advise clients about retirement plans, life insurance policies, and charitable contributions. Must be licensed to practice in Michigan.
