Skydance is looking for a Senior Counsel, Technology & Privacy to join the Legal team supporting all divisions at Skydance. This role requires a Juris Doctor Degree and 6+ years of experience, with at least 4+ years experience at a top tier law firm. The salary range for this position in Los Angeles is $180,000 – $195,000.

Responsibilities:
- Negotiate, draft and manage software and technology-related vendor and third-party licensing agreements.
- Draft, manage and maintain terms of use, privacy policies and other guidelines for the company's websites and gaming properties.
- Review and negotiate data protection agreements, assist with privacy impact assessments and data mapping.
- Work across divisions to manage agreement negotiations and ensure compliance with data privacy and security policies.
- Serve as the company's point person for take-down notices and enforcement activities against third-parties violating intellectual property.

Requirements:
- Juris Doctor Degree.
- Member in good standing of the California bar (or ability to qualify as a Registered In-House Counsel in California).
- 6+ years of experience, with at least 4+ years experience at a top tier law firm.
- In-house experience handling technology transactions is a bonus.
- Strong drafting skills for cutting-edge legal transactions.
- Strong project management, time management, and long-term planning skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, strategic thinking and reasoning skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle confidential information and interface with all levels of management.
- Positive attitude and passion for technology.

Salary information:
- The salary range for this position in Los Angeles is $180,000 – $195,000.
- The salary offered may vary based on the candidate’s location, qualifications, experience and relevant expertise, among other factors.
- The range indicated is for base salary only and does not reflect the total compensation package, including bonus, benefits, etc.
