The Litigation Attorney will be responsible for handling legal matters related to toxic tort defense. The ideal candidate should possess a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school and hold an active State of Illinois Law license in good standing. The candidate should have 3-7 years of experience in toxic tort defense.

Duties:

• Represent clients in toxic tort defense cases, addressing issues related to exposure to hazardous substances and chemicals.
• Conduct detailed legal research to build effective defense strategies.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents for toxic tort cases.
• Collaborate with experts, consultants, and witnesses to strengthen defense arguments.
• Attend court hearings, trials, and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
• Provide legal counsel to clients on toxic tort-related matters.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active State of Illinois Law license in good standing.
• 3-7 years of experience in toxic tort defense.
• In-depth knowledge of toxic tort laws, regulations, and relevant legal precedents.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
