Duties:

  • Manage a caseload of commercial litigation matters from inception to resolution.
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and alternative dispute resolution forums.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts throughout the litigation process.
  • Collaborate with partners, associates, and support staff to develop case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Assist in case evaluations and provide legal analysis on potential claims or disputes.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends in commercial litigation.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of Texas, in good standing.
  • 2-6 years of experience in commercial litigation, construction litigation, and/or insurance coverage and contractual risk-shifting provisions litigation.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Strong analytical, research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
