A law firm based in San Francisco is seeking a Private Equity Resource Attorney with 7+ years of experience in a US private equity corporate/transactional practice. The ideal candidate will work closely with the M&A resource attorney and knowledge management team to assist with M&A/private equity data and experience input and maintenance, template document preparation, and other practice support activities. The Private Equity Resource Attorney will play a crucial role in supporting the private equity practice group by assisting with knowledge management, document preparation, legal and regulatory monitoring, and marketing efforts. This role requires strong expertise in private equity transactions, excellent drafting and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

 

Duties:

  • Work with the M&A resource attorney and knowledge management team to assist with M&A/private equity data and experience input and maintenance
  • Prepare drafts or revise existing precedent of template documents
  • Curate and organize the private equity group's forms, precedents, and other know-how
  • Monitor legal and regulatory developments relative to private equity practice and the firm's core industry verticals
  • Develop and maintain the internal landing page for the private equity group
  • Coordinate with the firm's legal education team to prepare content for associate trainings and other firmwide training efforts
  • Collaborate with the private equity/M&A marketing team to strategize on firm private equity promotion and assist with content creation for pitches and teach-ins
  • Work with the quantitative analyst group on matters specific to private equity funds and transactions
  • Assist attorneys with day-to-day requests for precedents, templates, and other resources
  • Be involved in resource, knowledge management, and practice innovation projects

 

Requirements:

  • Must be a licensed attorney with 7+ years of experience in a US private equity corporate/transactional practice
  • Mastery of substantive areas of practice undertaken by the private equity practice group
  • Knowledge of industries regularly advised by the firm
  • Strong drafting, communication, and organizational skills
  • Strong intellectual ability, interpersonal, and technical skills
  • Organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
