Legal Services of Northern Virginia is seeking a full-time Bankruptcy and Tax Staff Attorney to join our team. - Essential Functions: Screen applicants for eligibility for bankruptcy representation, prepare and file bankruptcy petitions and represent clients in court, evaluate clients for potential discharge of federal student loans, represent clients in tax controversy matters, assist with legal outreach and community legal education projects, engage in advocacy initiatives to further the core mission of the LITC program, assist with grant reporting initiatives
