The State Attorney's Office, 9th Circuit, is seeking a Homicide Prosecutor to join their team. This position offers a starting salary commensurate with experience, as well as state employee retirement and insurance options, attorney benefits, paid holidays, and leave.

The Office of the State Attorney, Ninth Judicial Circuit, serves Orange and Osceola counties in Central Florida and is committed to promoting public safety, holding offenders accountable, and providing restorative justice for victims. They are currently seeking a candidate who is a member in good standing with The Florida Bar, has a strong interest in being a trial lawyer, and possesses excellent communication and critical thinking skills. The ideal candidate should also have experience with expert witness subject matter and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

The Assistant State Attorney will be responsible for a variety of duties, including utilizing strong litigation skills, conducting trials and evidentiary hearings, working with victim advocates and law enforcement partners, and being available for phone calls and assistance at any hour. Minimum qualifications for this position include a Juris Doctor Degree and membership with The Florida Bar.
