A law firm in Miami, FL, is actively seeking a Mid-level Litigation Associate Attorney with 5-8 years of experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling the high-level and strategic aspects of multiple legal matters at various stages of progression, demonstrating strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills. The role requires independent and productive work, a keen interest in advancing a career in litigation, and a commitment to producing high-quality legal work. The associate attorney will also play a role in business management and development.

Duties:

• Simultaneously handle high-level and strategic aspects of multiple legal matters from inception to conclusion.
• Communicate effectively with attorneys and clients, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
• Work independently and productively, showcasing a commitment to advancing a career in litigation.
• Produce quality legal work and bill the required hours to ensure excellent client service.
• Manage business aspects and contribute to business generation efforts individually and within a group.
• Adhere to the highest ethical standards of the legal profession.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.
• Preferably a graduate of a Top 25 law school or in the top 10% of the graduating class from an accredited law school.
• Positions on the law school’s premier law journal are a plus.
• Commercial litigation expertise is required.
• Licensed to practice law and in good standing in the state of Florida.
• Must maintain applicable license renewal and Continuing Legal Education (CLE) requirements.

Experience:

5-8 years of experience as a licensed attorney at a law firm or through clerking.
