In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and provide strategic tax advice related to business analysis, working capital management, and profit sharing for partners. You will also help clients navigate the complex national and international tax landscape, including capital requirements, operational tax risks, and implications of investing in different jurisdictions. Responsibilities: - Develop new skills outside of your comfort zone - Resolve issues that hinder team effectiveness - Coach and empower team members to take ownership of their personal development - Analyze complex ideas and provide meaningful recommendations - Utilize various sources of information to develop solutions and recommendations - Address sub-standard work and ensure it meets firm and client expectations - Use data and insights to inform decisions - Develop a global perspective on key industry trends and their impact on clients - Manage diverse viewpoints and build consensus for positive outcomes - Simplify complex messages and summarize key points - Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting - CPA or Member of the Bar certification - Minimum 4 years of experience in the insurance industry - Thorough knowledge of tax issues affecting domestic and/or international insurance industries - Familiarity with public accounting practices, internal tax departments, or foreign insurance departments - Strong technical skills in areas such as FAS 109, FIN 48, tax provision preparation, and corporate and partnership tax compliance - Experience identifying and addressing client needs, building and maintaining relationships, and communicating value propositions - Previous experience in a team leadership role, with the ability to coach and provide feedback to team members - Familiarity with CRM systems is preferred Why Join PwC?
