Job Description:

- Seeking experienced, proactive, and detail-oriented attorney to join the Commercial Law Group as Counsel
- Responsible for structuring, drafting, and negotiating complex transaction documents, including technology procurement agreements, outsourced and managed service agreements, and partnership and collaboration agreements
- Provide business-focused counsel by understanding strategy and goals and effectively communicating legal issues and solutions
- Liaise with senior stakeholders to ensure appropriate awareness and escalation of issues
- Assist in the maintenance and improvement of contract templates and review checklists

Requirements:

- 5-7 years as a practicing attorney, with 3 years of experience in complex technology procurement agreements
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity, technology controls, and data privacy and protection
- Knowledge of financial services regulations and regulatory guidance on outsourcing and third party relationships preferred
- High degree of self-motivation and ability to work autonomously and as part of a global team
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and drafting skills
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a pressurized environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Experience with legal technology preferred
- JD and member in good standing of New York State Bar or ability to qualify for in-house counsel admission
