Job Overview: The law firm is seeking a highly experienced Litigation Partner to join its team in Orlando, FL. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in General Liability, Professional Liability, and/or Employment Practices Liability defense and a proven track record of success in managing complex litigation matters.

Duties:

  • Lead and manage litigation cases from inception through resolution.
  • Provide strategic direction and guidance to junior attorneys and support staff.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Represent clients in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop case strategies and achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and exceptional legal representation.
  • Stay updated on changes in laws, regulations, and legal precedents relevant to litigation practice areas.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • 10+ years of litigation experience, preferably in General Liability, Professional Liability, and/or Employment Practices Liability defense.
  • Admission to the Florida Bar.
  • Proven track record of successful case management and litigation outcomes.
  • Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to mentor junior attorneys.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Florida Bar.
