Job Title: State and Local (SALT) Manager
Salary Range: $130,000 - $220,000
Experience: 6+ years of tax experience, with at least 4 years in SALT

Responsibilities:

- Provide excellent client service in Citrin Cooperman's National SALT practice
- Perform tax research and analysis on a variety of SALT matters, including income and indirect tax nexus, apportionment and revenue sourcing, sales taxability, credits and incentives, SALT planning and implementation, and M&A due diligence
- Handle SALT controversies, such as audits and administrative appeals
- Build strong relationships with team members and effectively communicate with clients
- Continuously learn and apply new concepts in a dynamic environment

Qualifications:

- BS in Accounting, LLM or master's in taxation preferred
- CPA and/or JD preferred
- 6+ years of tax experience in public accounting or law firm, with at least 4 years exclusively in SALT
- Comprehensive understanding of multi-state tax concepts
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Highly organized and able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing

Salary Information:

- For positions in New York and California, the salary range is $130,000 - $220,000.
- Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.
