Job Overview: A law firm in Columbus, OH, is seeking an experienced Labor and Employment Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in labor and employment law, with a focus on litigation and counseling.

Duties:

• Represent clients in labor and employment litigation, including class action and individual lawsuits.
• Provide general employment counseling to clients.
• Handle a diverse range of employment-related matters, including discrimination allegations, wage and hour claims, employee discipline, breach of restrictive covenants, unlawful harassment and retaliation, labor law, and workplace investigations.
• Conduct employee training on relevant legal issues.
• Stay updated on changes in labor and employment laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• 4-8 years of experience in labor and employment law.
• Experience representing clients in labor and employment litigation and providing general employment counseling.
• Superior academic record.
• Federal clerkship experience is a plus.
• OSHA experience is desirable.
• Strong work ethic and excellent writing and research skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Ohio State Bar (or ability to become admitted).
