Position Summary:

- The Tax Senior role within Deloitte Tax LLP (“Deloitte Tax”) focuses on providing tax services to clients in the renewable energy industry.
- Deloitte Tax serves clients in over 150 countries and regions worldwide.

What You'll Do:

- Advise clients on tax issues related to renewable energy projects.
- Collaborate with colleagues across all member firms – Tax, Advisory, Consulting, and Audit and Assurance.
- Participate in the targeting of new clients.
- Identify opportunities and advise clients on potential benefits and eligibility requirements related to various tax credits.
- Prepare tax returns and provide advisory services related to renewable energy tax equity structures.
- Maintain and develop strong internal and client relationships.
- Monitor current and proposed tax legislation and regulations.
- Collaborate with member firms to execute work streams.
- Identify potential issues and propose solutions to leadership.
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of engagement deliverables.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory tax developments.
- Support various internal initiatives and special tax related projects.

The Team:

- Dedicated tax professionals committed to supporting clients with their Sustainability, Climate and Equity initiatives.
- Based in various service lines across tax.
- Deloitte delivers a holistic and coordinated approach to complex tax issues.
- Provides services relevant to multiple jurisdictions and countries.
- Assists clients with global tax challenges and helps them transform their tax department.
- Business Tax Services (“BTS”) is a national practice within Deloitte Tax.

Qualifications:

Required:

- Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model.
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
- 3+ years’ experience in related field.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
- Demonstrated analytical and research skills.
- Proven leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and develop relationships.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent research, writing, presentation, and communication skills.
- Active accreditations or willingness to obtain.
- Licensed CPA, attorney, or Enrolled Agent.
- Certifications such as CFA or CFP.

Preferred:

- Advanced degree such as Masters of Tax, JD, and/or LLM.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Experience working in a virtual and/or global environment.
- Passion for leveraging technology and exploring new solutions.
- Previous experience with Big 4 or large CPA/law firms.

Salary Information:

- The wage range for this role is $63,420 to $144,300.
- Compensation decisions are dependent on individual qualifications and circumstances.
