H1: FMCNA is seeking an experienced Assistant General Counsel to join our inclusive and collegial Law Department, providing legal support on a broad range of corporate and healthcare matters.

H2: Job Responsibilities

- Provide legal advice and support on healthcare law, particularly regulatory compliance and contract review and negotiation.
- Draft, review, revise, and negotiate legal agreements and documents.
- Conduct research and investigate healthcare law issues.
- Collaborate with various corporate departments to resolve complex issues.
- Assist with potential and pre-litigation matters.
- Assist with special projects as assigned.

H2: Requirements

- Juris Doctorate from an accredited college or university.
- License to practice law in at least one state.
- 4+ years of experience as a practicing attorney.
- Experience in corporate, transactional, and/or healthcare regulatory matters.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple complex legal issues.
- Strong commitment to customer service.
- Excellent legal research and communication skills.
- Proficient with PCs, Microsoft Office, and case management databases.
- Previous experience with healthcare providers, particularly dialysis providers, preferred.
