RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manage all phases of complex commercial litigation cases, including fact investigation, legal research, drafting discovery, preparing pleadings, taking and defending depositions, participating in mediations, communicating with opposing counsel and clients, and appearing in court for motions and pre-hearing proceedings.
- Work closely with a team of attorneys and provide support on various legal matters.
- Develop and implement effective legal strategies to achieve the best possible outcome for our clients.
- Communicate directly with clients and provide updates and recommendations as needed.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategy and decisions.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions.
- Stay up-to-date on relevant laws and regulations and provide guidance to clients and colleagues as needed.
- Collaborate with attorneys from other departments to provide comprehensive legal services to our clients.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school with an excellent academic record.
- Admitted to the Arizona bar.
- 4-6 years of experience in commercial litigation, preferably in a law firm setting.
- Strong understanding of all phases of litigation and legal procedures.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage multiple projects.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and organization skills.
- Outstanding judgement and attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with attorneys and clients.
- Proficient in legal research and analysis.
- Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Position is generally sedentary in nature; involves sitting most of the time, but may involve the need for inter-office mobility for brief periods of time.
- Ability to occasionally or routinely lift up to 10 – 20 lbs.
- Ability to efficiently communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions as required.
- Ability to see and read PC screens, detect color coding, read fine print, and/or normal type size print.
