Work Responsibilities:

- Participate in engagements requiring tax analysis for a variety of entities and their affiliates
- Utilize innovative technologies and processes to drive value and efficiency in client engagements
- Research and analyze a wide range of tax issues while working closely with local teams and partners
- Lead project management and delivery of tax advisory and consulting services to clients
- Interact with engagement teams both domestically and internationally
- Ensure proper staffing and participation on engagement teams

The Team:

- National Federal Tax Services (NFTS) is a national practice within Deloitte Tax LLP
- NFTS offers multiple tax service offerings developed in response to tax planning opportunities, marketplace needs, and technological innovations
- Team members within NFTS are viewed as tax specialists
- Deloitte's tax professionals use the proprietary DART technology solution to drive efficient tax cost recovery calculations and tax planning through advanced technologies and data analytics
- Specialize in a wide variety of fixed asset centric tax services

Qualifications:

- Ability to work within a hybrid work model, co-locating in person 2-3 days per week
- 3+ years of experience in core tax compliance, including federal and/or international
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or another business-related field
- Willingness to travel up to 20% based on work and client needs
- Active accreditation or willingness to obtain one (CPA, licensed attorney, enrolled agent, project management professional, or chartered financial advisor)
- Preferred: advanced degree such as MST or MAcc, mid-level to advanced skills in MS Project, Word, and Excel, experience with tax depreciation software, self-starter with strong research and communication skills, previous Big 4 or large CPA firm experience

Salary Information:

- Wage range takes into account factors such as skill set, experience, training, licensure, and certifications
- Range estimate is $66,570 to $151,580
- Eligible for discretionary annual incentive program based on individual and organizational performance
