Position Description:
As a Judicial Law Clerk, you will have the opportunity to research legal issues, write extensively, and assist with trial preparation and other court proceedings. You will work closely with the Honorable Roy B. Dalton, Jr. and provide recommendations based on the law. The caseload in this jurisdiction is heavy and diverse, providing the opportunity to work on novel legal issues. While the work is serious, the office environment is personable and encourages daily interaction with the Judge and other law clerks and staff.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must be a law school graduate and possess excellent research and writing skills. Experience on the editorial board of a law review, moot court, or publication of noteworthy articles is preferred, but not required. Good character, maturity, and the ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines are also necessary. Bar membership and post-graduate experience in litigation or previous clerkship experience are desired. Applicants must be a . citizen or eligible to work in the United States. A background check will be conducted as a condition of employment.
