As a Manager, you will work as part of a team to solve complex business issues and coach team members to take ownership of their personal development. The Partner Tax Preparation Advisors (PTPA) team at PwC is a national team of dedicated tax professionals who serve as trusted advisors to the owners of the company. Your role as a PTPA Manager will involve providing tax compliance and planning guidance to PwC's partners and principals across the US. You will also be responsible for managing and performing individual tax compliance and reviews, as well as planning for executives.

Requirements:

- Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree
- Certification(s) Required: CPA, Enrolled Agent, or Member of the Bar

Responsibilities:

- Demonstrate understanding of Partnership K-1 income, state tax credits, composite returns, and year-end planning
- Utilize a network of internal stakeholders and external resources to meet the needs of clients
- Manage and perform individual tax compliance and reviews for executives
- Utilize firm-issued technologies such as Microsoft Office and Google at Work
- Identify and address client tax issues
- Lead and collaborate with team members virtually
- Build and maintain trusted client relationships
- Coach staff and provide timely feedback
- Utilize project management and communication skills
- Prepare, coordinate, review, and present complex materials
- Work within various tax preparation software and online tax organizers
- Research complex individual tax issues
- Lead ongoing change and leverage new technology
- Act as a tax technical business advisor
- Demonstrate knowledge of automation and digitization in a professional services environment
- Innovate through new and existing technologies
- Work with large, complex data sets and utilize data visualization tools
- Utilize digitization tools to reduce hours and optimize engagements
