Strong transactional and analytical skills are essential, including drafting and negotiating financing and organizational documents, leases, purchase and sale contracts, and brokerage and property management agreements across various property types and jurisdictions.

Duties:

  • Draft and negotiate intricate loan documents in commercial real estate transactions.
  • Conduct comprehensive due diligence and legal research.
  • Review titles, surveys, and lease agreements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Analyze and interpret lease agreements and provide approved legal opinions.
  • Handle a broad range of transactions for clients, including acquisitions, development, sale/leasebacks, leasing, lending, and corporate real estate advisory work.
  • Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients on real estate matters.
  • Collaborate with clients, colleagues, and other parties involved in transactions.
  • Maintain meticulous records and documentation of all transactions.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial real estate.
  • Comprehensive experience with a broad range of real estate transactions.
  • JD from an accredited law school with a strong academic record.
