A law firm is seeking a dedicated and experienced Private Client Associate Attorney to join their team in Florham Park, NJ. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estate planning and administration, along with some experience in elder law matters.

Job Overview:

The Private Client Associate Attorney will provide comprehensive legal services to clients in matters related to estate planning, administration, and elder law. The successful candidate will work collaboratively in a client-focused environment to deliver high-quality legal solutions.

Duties:

  • Prepare trust agreements, wills, and other estate-planning documents
  • Handle probate proceedings and administer trusts
  • Prepare estate tax returns and provide tax planning advice
  • Assist with elder law matters, including Medicaid planning and guardianships
  • Conduct legal research and analysis
  • Draft legal memoranda, pleadings, and other documents
  • Represent clients in estate litigation proceedings (experience preferred)

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in estate planning and administration functions
  • Admission to the New Jersey Bar is required, with admission to the New York Bar strongly preferred
  • Excellent academic credentials from an accredited law school
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Motivated to succeed and produce top-quality work with minimal supervision

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to the New Jersey Bar
  • Admission to the New York Bar (preferred)

Skills:
