Job Title: Tax Senior - Nat'l Federal Tax Services - Partnership Solutions Group
Salary Range: $77,070 - $175,500

Position Summary:

- Seeking tax specialist with experience in federal/tax and partnership tax compliance
- Opportunity to work with large-scaled operating partnership tax clients on a variety of industries
- Focus on client consultation and improving computational software applications and proprietary solutions

Work You'll Do:

- Refine skills by working with diverse industries
- Deliver value to clients experiencing a public offering
- Assist with public offering transactions and Up-C clients on an ongoing basis
- Develop understanding of public monetization transactional process
- Create cutting-edge technology for partnership tax and data analytics
- Implement strategic tax structures and processes for clients
- Participate in marketplace activities and Deloitte initiatives
- Identify service opportunities and manage client accounts

The Team:

- National Federal Tax Services (NFTS) is a national practice within Deloitte Tax LLP
- NFTS service lines provide tax planning for the largest organizations across all industries
- Operational Partnership Services (OPS) service line is part of the Partnership Solutions Group within NFTS
- OPS professionals counsel partnerships on a wide range of federal tax and issues involving Up-C, mergers, acquisitions, and more
- Industries served include private equity, real estate, telecom, technology, healthcare, media & entertainment, energy, retail, and financial services

Qualifications:

- Ability to work in a hybrid model, with in-person work required 2-3 days per week
- 2+ years of experience in federal partnership tax
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or business-related field
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Project, Word, Excel, and Visio
- Experience in a fast-paced, team environment
- Demonstrated research skills
- Self-starter with ability to handle multiple priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 25%
- Accreditation options: CPA, licensed attorney, enrolled agent, CFA, CFP

Preferred Qualifications:

- Advanced degree such as MST, JD, or LLM
- Previous experience with Big 4 or large CPA firm
- Transaction and M&A experience
- Experience with Alteryx

Salary Range:

- Takes into account various factors including skill sets, experience, and training
- Wide range of $77,070 - $175,500
- Compensation decisions are dependent on individual circumstances
