##Insurance Tax Manager **Overview** PwC is looking for an Insurance Tax Manager to join their Financial Services Tax practice. The successful candidate will help clients meet their tax obligations while managing the impact tax has on their business. They will also provide advice on tax implications of deals and help organisations understand the pricing implications of goods and services between related parties. **Job Requirements and Preferences** The successful candidate will have: - Bachelor Degree in Accounting - CPA or Member of the Bar - 4+ years of experience - Thorough knowledge of the tax issues affecting either the domestic and/or international insurance industries - Thorough knowledge of public accounting practices, internal domestic insurance tax departments or internal foreign insurance departments - Comprehensive technical skills in FAS 109, FIN 48, tax provision preparation audit and review, and corporate and partnership tax compliance - Experience building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships and community involvement - Experience communicating value propositions - Experience managing resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collections - Experience preparing and/or coordinating complex written and verbal materials - Experience as a team leader, supervising teams to create an atmosphere of trust - Experience seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation - Experience coaching staff including providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback - Knowledge of automation & digitization in a professional services environment - Knowledge of alternative fee arrangements, including the use of pricing tools **Salary** For positions in California, Colorado, Hawaii, Nevada, New York State, or Washington State, or for opportunities that will report to a supervisor, office or other work site in New York State, the pay range is listed on the following link: **Application Process** Applications will be accepted until the position is filled or the posting is removed, unless otherwise set forth on the following webpage.
