The successful candidate will possess a Juris Doctorate and be admitted as a notary public, with strong experience in real estate law, including lease transactions, property management, and purchase and sale transactions.

 

Duties:

  • Negotiate and analyze real estate transactions, including lease agreements, purchase and sale contracts, and property management agreements.
  • Conduct legal research and provide guidance on real estate laws, regulations, and rulings.
  • Draft and review real estate documents, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and client objectives.
  • Manage title insurance underwriting, curative, and claims processes.
  • Advise clients on legal risks associated with real estate transactions and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.
  • Interpret and apply laws and regulations relevant to real estate transactions.
  • Draft routine leases and lease amendments.
  • Ensure all necessary approvals are obtained before executing real estate transactions.
  • Provide representation for the firm's clients in real estate purchases and sales.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission as a notary public (essential)
  • Strong experience in real estate law, including lease transactions, property management, and purchase and sale transactions
  • Proficiency in title insurance underwriting, curative, and claims processes
  • Familiarity with foreclosure procedures
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and public speaking skills
  • Ability to interpret and apply complex legal concepts in the context of real estate transactions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Strong networking abilities and interpersonal skills
