Position Summary:

- Tax Senior position in Financial Services and Insurance with Deloitte's Business Tax Services team.
- Responsible for providing tax advisory services to clients in the insurance industry, including underwriting, claims, IT, finance, and accounting.
- Coordinate with client's tax and finance departments to gather data for tax return preparation.
- Assist with strategic tax planning and researching federal tax law.
- Assist with IRS audit defense.
- Work within a hybrid work model, co-locating in person 2-3 days per week.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related fields required.
- 3+ years of experience working with private or public corporations.
- Strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
- Excellent presentation and communication abilities.
- Ability to travel up to 25% for work.
- CPA, attorney, enrolled agent, or CFA/CFP certification preferred.
- Advanced degree such as Masters of Tax, JD, or LLM a plus.
- Previous experience in life insurance, property insurance, or casualty industry preferred.
- Previous experience with corporate tax preparation, compliance, or controversy a plus.
- Salary range of $63,420 to $144,300, with potential for discretionary annual incentive program participation.
