Manager, M&A Tax:

Responsibilities:

- Advise clients on corporate tax services, including planning, research, and M&A activities
- Work with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver due diligence and tax structuring services, and communicate findings and opportunities to clients
- Assist senior members with technical tax issues in areas such as consolidated returns, S Corps, partnerships, LLCs, and LLPs
- Help clients with current issues such as bankruptcy planning, debt restructurings, and tax basis calculations
- Motivate and train staff-level team members

Qualifications:

- Minimum five years of experience in federal tax and/or M&A in a public accounting firm, corporate tax department, or law firm
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
- Licensed CPA, EA, or JD/LLM preferred
- Knowledge of corporate tax matters in various industries
- Ability to handle multiple engagements and client service teams
- Excellent research and writing skills
