A law firm in San Francisco is seeking a Senior Insurance Coverage Litigation Attorney/Senior Counsel to represent insurers in complex commercial litigation and insurance coverage matters. The candidate will develop litigation strategy, conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and manage all aspects of insurance coverage litigation.

Duties:

• Develop litigation strategy for insurance coverage disputes and class actions.
• Conduct complex legal research and analysis, and draft memoranda.
• Analyze insurance policies, provide coverage advice, and draft coverage analyses.
• Draft and review pleadings, briefs, interrogatories, and other legal documents.
• Take and defend depositions and attend court hearings and mediations.
• Manage and supervise associates and paralegals.
• Interact with clients and provide legal advice and recommendations.

Requirements:

• Admission to practice law in California.
• 8+ years of experience in insurance coverage litigation, particularly with commercial general liability policies.
• Strong experience with state and federal court proceedings.
• Excellent academic credentials and demonstrated legal expertise.
• Superior research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Interpersonal skills, leadership abilities, and mentoring experience.
