A law firm is seeking an Attorney to join their team in Boca Raton. The Attorney will serve as lead counsel representing appellants before the . Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims and the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional legal research, analysis, and writing skills, along with a strong sense of advocacy and a background in Veteran Law.

Duties:

• Represent appellants before the . Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims and the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
• Thoroughly review the administrative record to ensure clients receive the best representation.
• Conduct accurate legal research.
• Draft compelling legal memoranda and briefs.
• Engage in informal hearings with a strong sense of advocacy.
• Deliver persuasive oral arguments.
• Prepare detailed client reports and maintain open communication to discuss case progress.

Requirements:

• Admission to practice law in any state in good standing.
• Eligibility to be barred at the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.
• Accreditation with the Department of Veterans Affairs.
• 2+ years of experience in Veteran Law.
• Exceptional legal research, analysis, and writing skills.
• A strong academic background.

Education:

Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Accreditation with the Department of Veterans Affairs.
