The position is available in 27 different locations and the recruitment for this role will end on May 31st, 2025. The ideal candidate for this role is a strategic and creative individual who is adept at solving complex state and local indirect tax issues. They should also be able to combine tax consulting solutions with innovative technology to align the tax function with business objectives. The role will require the individual to work directly with clients, manage a tax engagement team, and have access to a strong support system from firm leadership. The responsibilities of the role include maintaining and developing client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor, researching and analyzing tax issues, and managing engagement workflow. The candidate should also have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field and one of the following accreditations: licensed CPA, licensed attorney, enrolled agent, or CMI. The ideal candidate should also be able to travel up to 10% on average for work. An advanced degree such as a Masters of Tax, JD, or LLM is preferred, as well as previous experience at a Big 4 or large CPA firm. The salary range for this role is estimated to be between $95,900 to $203,060 and the candidate may also be eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program.
