As an Associate Trial Attorney for Farmers, you will have the opportunity to join a high-performance culture that is focused on results and personal growth. You will handle cases of moderate complexity and/or exposure, as well as assist in cases of greater complexity and/or exposure. This is a remote position, with in-person appearances as required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle cases of moderate complexity and/or exposure, or assist in cases of greater complexity and/or exposure
- Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery, and briefs, attend hearings, conferences, interviews, and trials or arbitrations
- Consult with and advise the Claims Department on insurance policy and legal aspects of personal injury claims
- Keep supervisor informed of work and any encountered problems
- Functionally supervise other attorneys assigned to assist with cases

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree and Law school degree
- Member in good standing of the State Bar in the state where the position is located
- At least one year of experience as an attorney or equivalent outside experience
- Ability to handle cases of moderate exposure and/or complexity with minimal supervision
- Paralegal, claims, or insurance experience is helpful
- Public speaking and ability to handle confrontational situations
