Job Overview:

As a Labor and Employment Associate Attorney, the successful candidate will be responsible for handling a diverse range of litigation matters with a focus on labor and employment issues. This role requires a deep understanding of Ohio law and the ability to provide effective legal counsel to clients.

Duties:

• Manage and handle a caseload involving labor and employment litigation matters.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to provide accurate and timely advice to clients.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and negotiations.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to ensure comprehensive and effective client representation.
• Stay updated on changes in labor and employment laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• 3-6 years of litigation experience, with a focus on labor and employment issues.
• Active license to practice law in Ohio.
• Strong knowledge of Ohio labor and employment laws and regulations.
• Excellent legal research and writing skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload and work efficiently under deadlines.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in Ohio.

Skills:

• Litigation experience, with a focus on labor and employment matters.
