The Securities and Capital Markets Associate Attorney will play a vital role in handling a variety of transactional matters, including equity and debt capital markets transactions, M&A transactions, and SEC compliance. Duties:

  • Participate in public company equity and debt capital markets transactions
  • Assist with mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions
  • Ensure compliance with SEC regulations and reporting requirements
  • Draft and review legal documents and agreements
  • Conduct legal research and provide analysis on securities law issues
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals within the firm

 

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience working for an AM Law 100 or 200 law firm in corporate, securities, capital markets, and M&A
  • Hands-on experience with public company equity and debt capital markets transactions and SEC compliance
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • JD degree with strong academic credentials
  • Admission in (and in good standing with) the applicable jurisdiction

 

Education:

JD degree from an accredited law school

 

Certifications:

Admission in (and in good standing with) the applicable jurisdiction
