A law firm in Fort Wayne is seeking a dynamic Business, Banking, and Corporate Associate Attorney with excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have 2-6 years of experience in small business and corporate matters, commercial and consumer lending, with a focus on financing and commercial workouts. Membership in and good standing with the Indiana State Bar is required.

 

Duties:

  • Provide legal advice and representation to clients in business, banking, and corporate matters.
  • Draft and review various legal documents, including contracts, loan agreements, and corporate governance documents.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on complex legal issues related to business transactions, banking regulations, and corporate law.
  • Assist clients with financing transactions, including commercial lending and loan workouts.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop legal strategies and solutions.
  • Handle corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and business formations.

 

Requirements:

  • Membership in and good standing with the Indiana State Bar.
  • 2-6 years of experience in relevant areas such as small business and corporate matters, commercial and consumer lending.
  • Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
  • Energy, drive, and desire to work in a robust legal practice.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment with attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
