Our Financial Services Tax practice provides clients with the opportunity to meet their tax obligations while managing the impact tax has on their business.

We are looking for an Insurance Tax Manager to join our team and help our clients navigate the frequently changing and complex national and international tax environment.

**Job Description**

As an Insurance Tax Manager, you will work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. You will develop new skills outside of your comfort zone, act to resolve issues which prevent the team working effectively, and coach others, recognise their strengths, and encourage them to take ownership of their personal development.

You will analyse complex ideas or proposals and build a range of meaningful recommendations, use multiple sources of information including broader stakeholder views to develop solutions and recommendations, and simplify complex messages, highlighting and summarising key points.

You will be expected to uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct, use data and insights to inform conclusions and support decision-making, and develop a point of view on key global trends, and how they impact clients.

**Requirements and Preferences**

To be considered for this role, you must have:

- Bachelor Degree in Accounting
- CPA or Member of the Bar
- 4 years' experience

Preferred qualifications include:

- Master Degree
- Thorough knowledge of the tax issues affecting either the domestic and/or international insurance industries
- Thorough knowledge of public accounting practices, internal domestic insurance tax departments or internal foreign insurance departments
- Comprehensive technical skills in FAS 109, FIN 48, tax provision preparation audit and review, and corporate and partnership tax compliance
- Experience identifying and addressing client needs
- Experience as a team leader, supervising teams to create an atmosphere of trust
- Knowledge of automation & digitization in a professional services environment
- Knowledge of alternative fee arrangements
