Job Title: STJ Attorney Company: Novo Nordisk Location: Tianjin, China Mainland Job Category: Legal, Compliance & Audit Experience: Minimum 6 years legal experience Education: Master Degree of Law, Admitted to a Bar Key Responsibilities: - Key account manager for STJ, providing legal counsel and support for contract/transactional work, business ethics, and corporate governance. - Collaborate with relevant stakeholders locally and globally, as well as with other business units. - Template owner of local templates and member of PS Legal and Compliance Network. - Interact with PS Legal HQ in Denmark, Beijing legal team, and external law firm. - Keep informed of new laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting the company and assist with policy development and training. - Draft and review contracts, including service agreements, construction-related agreements, and consulting agreements. - Identify legal risks and provide advice to management. - Manage external law firm and interact with external stakeholders. - Coordinate with relevant stakeholders on risk management. Qualifications: - Master Degree of Law and admitted to a Bar. - Minimum 6 years legal experience, with solid experience in commercial law in an international setting. - Experience within the healthcare/pharmaceutical industry. - Highly developed stakeholder management skills and strong written and verbal communication in English. - Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects. - Flexible and able to work in teams. - Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices, Pharmaceutical Quality, and related topics. - Experience with complex contracting/transactional work and corporate governance. - Experience with employment-related legal issues. - Experience with managing litigation. - Strong problem-solving skills. - Familiarity with IT tools such as Microsoft Office, Coupa, and DocuSign (if applicable). Scope of Authority: - High degree of independent job performance without support. - Responsible for identifying and implementing improvements in tools, training, and processes. - Influence and impact on legal approval of agreements within assigned areas of responsibility.
