Job Description

The Corporate Paralegal (Project Finance) position at Standard Solar is responsible for providing legal and administrative support to the legal and finance teams. This role involves coordinating and supporting various transactions related to the acquisition, development, and financing of solar energy projects across the United States. The ideal candidate will have experience in corporate paralegal work or project management in a law firm or in-house at a company.

Key Responsibilities

· Coordinate and support various transactions, including project due diligence and document management

· Assist with the negotiation and execution of term sheets/LOIs, NDAs, and other transactional documents

· Prepare initial drafts of documents and review/edit legal forms and contracts

· Manage corporate formations, governance, and maintenance

· Coordinate closing processes for acquisitions and project finance transactions

· Prepare internal and external correspondences

· Perform administrative duties to support the legal and finance teams

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree, Associate’s degree, or paralegal studies certificate program

· Experience as a corporate paralegal or project manager in a law firm or in-house at a company

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently

· Document management skills are a plus

· Experience in renewable energy or solar acquisition/financing is preferred but not required

· Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the .
