Position Summary:

- Seeking a leader and strategic thinker with extensive knowledge of multiple areas of taxation
- Responsible for delivering compliance and consulting services to individual clients and their trusts, estates, family offices, investment vehicles, charitable pursuits, and closely-held business concerns

What You'll Do:

- Perform high-level reviews of tax research and work papers for individual, fiduciary, partnership, closely-held corporations, estate, and gift tax returns
- Prepare for and assist in client meetings regarding tax planning opportunities and implications of transactions
- Work with a team of professionals dedicated to serving the specialized needs of the ultra-affluent, including families with multigenerational wealth, entrepreneurs, family offices, and closely-held business owners
- Provide comprehensive, independent, and objective wealth transfer planning advice
- Help clients make informed, strategic decisions for their personal financial comfort, business and investment needs, family legacy, and charitable giving

Qualifications:

Required:

- Ability to work within a hybrid work model, co-locating in person 2-3 days per week
- 3+ years of experience in tax planning or preparing and reviewing client work papers and income tax returns
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or other business-related field
- Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office (or eligible to sit for the CPA) OR licensed attorney OR enrolled agent OR certified financial advisor (CFA) OR certified financial planner (CFP)
- Ability to travel up to 25% based on the work and clients served

Preferred:

- Advanced degree such as MST, MAcc, JD, or LLM
- Prior Big 4 experience
- Experience reviewing partnership and/or trust documents
- Project management experience
- Strong technology, research, writing, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Salary Information:

- Wage range takes into account factors such as skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and other business and organizational needs
- Range estimate: $63,420 to $126,620
- Compensation decisions dependent on individual circumstances and may not be at the top of the range
