Job Responsibilities:

- Manage complex tax issues related to mergers and acquisitions, including corporate mergers, private equity, post-deal integration, bankruptcy, and insolvency.
- Work with clients to develop successful tax strategies and optimize net cash flows for acquisitions and mergers.
- Conduct pre-acquisition or pre-sale due diligence.
- Ensure tax compliance requirements are met throughout the deal.
- Lead and mentor teams, encourage diverse perspectives, and create an atmosphere of trust.
- Communicate with clients and stakeholders to build trust and address their needs.
- Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; advanced degree in Accounting, Taxation, or Law preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in a tax-related field.
- CPA, JD, or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials preferred.
- Knowledge of mergers and acquisition practices and tax consulting and planning.
- Ability to effectively manage and lead teams.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Familiarity with CRM systems preferred.
