# Mid-Level Associate Attorney

Law Firm is accepting applications for a mid-level associate to join the firm’s business practice. The ideal candidate should have a strong academic background, excellent research and writing skills, and no less than two years of experience in commercial business/tax transactions. Non-legal experience in business, tax, or intellectual property work and demonstrated client relations skills a plus.

## Qualifications

* 2-4 years of experience in commercial business/tax transactions
* Strong academic background
* Excellent research and writing skills

* Demonstrated client relations skills

## Responsibilities

* Negotiating and drafting contracts
* Structuring corporate transactions
* Counseling clients on a variety of corporate matters including debt and equity financings, startup/formation, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and tax-exempt transactions
* Interacting with clients
