Job Overview:

The Senior-Level Health Care Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal counsel and representation to clients in health care regulatory and transactional matters, mergers and acquisitions, and related areas. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in health care law and demonstrate strong business acumen and client service skills.

Duties:

  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on health care regulatory compliance matters.
  • Conduct regulatory due diligence and structuring for business transactions.
  • Assist clients in navigating fraud and abuse issues, including Stark and anti-kickback laws.
  • Advise on licensure and enrollment requirements for health care providers.
  • Address reimbursement issues within Medicare and Medicaid frameworks.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve legal issues effectively.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of Texas or eligibility for admission.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in health care regulatory and transactional law.
  • Experience representing providers and professional entities preferred.
  • Strong understanding of health care laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Certifications:

  • State Bar of Texas admission or eligibility for admission.
